Depending on how you use the website or coaching service, information may include your name, email address, booking details, English-learning goals, messages you send, payment status, and information you choose to provide in enquiry or coaching forms.

These providers may process personal information under their own privacy terms and in accordance with their role in supplying the relevant service.
Phillips English does not need to store your full card details. Card and supported wallet payments are handled by the payment provider used at checkout.
Personal information may be processed where necessary to provide a service you request, to take steps before entering into a contract, to comply with legal obligations, or for legitimate business interests such as managing enquiries, bookings and service security. Where consent is required, it will be requested separately.
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including providing coaching, handling enquiries, keeping required business records, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations.
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, the relevant provider is responsible for applying the safeguards required for its processing.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights over your personal information, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Phillips English uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights on public pages to understand anonymous traffic and real-world page performance. Vercel’s website analytics are first-party and do not rely on cookies or cross-site tracking.
Google Analytics is optional. Its script loads only after you select “Accept Google Analytics”. It helps us understand website visits and interactions so we can improve Phillips English. You can select “Reject Google Analytics” and continue using the website, including booking lessons.
Your Google Analytics choice is saved in your browser’s local storage for up to 180 days. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change it at any time. If you withdraw permission, Google Analytics is disabled, accessible Google Analytics cookies are removed and the page reloads. Previously collected information is not deleted by changing this setting.
The embedded booking and payment services are separate third-party services and may use storage necessary for the booking or payment you request. Their own privacy notices apply. These services are not controlled by the analytics choice above.
The student portal stores your account email, name, lesson feedback, corrections, practice suggestions, agreed goals and teacher observations of your progress. These records are used to support your coaching. Your signed-in account can access your own learning records. Jason can manage the records of students assigned to him.
Homework files and completed work are stored privately with Supabase and are available only to the student and their assigned teacher. Each file becomes unavailable seven days after upload. A daily cleanup removes expired files from storage, usually by the following day. Download a copy before the displayed deadline if you want to keep it. Written lesson feedback, corrections, goals and homework completion records remain available in your learning space.
Supabase manages password authentication. Phillips English does not store your password in lesson records. The portal uses secure sign-in cookies which are renewed while you use your account and expire after up to 21 days of inactivity. Signing out clears these cookies. The portal does not load Google Analytics. For help with access, corrections to your learning records or a request to remove your account, contact Jason using the address below.
